International Symposium – From Paradigms to Paradoxes in Immunity and Immunopathology (PPII)

Freiburg October 6th-8th 2022 – Save the date!

The conference will highlight and discuss conceptual shifts in basic and translational immunology, infection immunity, immunodeficiency and autoimmunity. It will take place at the University Building KG I located in the heart of Freiburg just a few minutes from the main railway station, hotels and restaurants.

The organizing committee is compiling an exciting scientific program with plenary sessions held by internationally renowned speakers complemented by selected short talks from young scientists.

We cordially invite everyone to join us in Freiburg for this exciting meeting. All Freiburg’ immunologists are looking forward to welcome you to our city with the charm of a small historic town in the heart of the famous Black Forest. We hope to make this special conference a memorable event!

Symposium Online Registration

COVID-19 update

We are closely monitoring the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation and are committed to creating a safe and effective event experience for all our participants. The health and safety of Meeting delegates are our highest priorities.

On-Site Safety Regulations:

During the Symposium we will apply the so-called ‘2G-Plus rule’ (geimpft, genesen, selbst-getestet – vaccinated, recovered, self-tested). This means that entrance to the Prometheus hall is allowed only to participants belonging to one of these groups. Access is only possible with a mask.

  • Proof of a complete (3-shots) corona vaccination (vaccination pass or digital)
  • Proof of complete recovery from a corona infection (= positive PCR test of a minimum of 28 days and a maximum of 6 months before the visit)

We additionally kindly ask you to perform daily COVID-19 self-testing (antigen test, not older than 24h) as an extra layer of safety. This ensures, in combination with the hygiene regulations and rules, that all visitors and staff stay safe.

NOTE:
Registration and abstract submission closed!
