Effect of novel Lck mutation in CID patients

CRC 1160 member Susana Minguet (B01) investigates the effect of a novel mutation in Lck on TCR signaling, T-cell function, and differentiation in patients with combined immunodeficiency (CID). The defect strongly impairs T-cell function despite residual TCR signaling and T-cell differentiation. These findings, together with a report simultaneously published by Susana Minguet (B01) in J Exp Med, expand the central role of LCK in human T-cell development and function.

The findings have been published in the Journal of Clinical Immunology  together with former CRC 1160 member Klaus Warnatz (A04).
