Two scientists from the CRC 1160 are currently among the most cited researchers worldwide in the “Clinical Medicine” category: Prof Dr Marco Prinz (C03), Institute of Neuropathology and Prof Dr Dr Bertram Bengsch (A03, Z01), Department of Internal Medicine II. The “Highly Cited Researchers” ranking of the “Web of Science” research database is published annually.
Marco Prinz was once again nominated as a Highly Cited Researcher in two different research fields in this year’s ranking. He is a professor at the Institute of Neuropathology at the Department of Neurology and Neurophysiology and has been nominated for the seventh time in a row.
Bertram Bengsch is a professor at the Department of Internal Medicine in the Clinic for Internal Medicine II and has been ranked three times in the Highly Cited Researcher list since 2020.
