Heisenberg Professorship for Susana Minguet García Mar 31, 2023 – Dr. Susana Minguet García, scientist of the CRC 1160 (B01), will receive a Heisenberg Professorship from the German Research Foundation (DFG) for Synthetic Immunology on April 1, 2023. The Professorship is based at the Faculty of Biology at the University of Freiburg.
ERC Advanced Grant for CRC 1160 scientist Mar 30, 2023 – The CRC 1160 scientist, Robert Zeiser (B09) has received an ERC Advanced grant for his project AlloCure, which aims to decipher the cellular and molecular mechanisms of the immune response against leukaemia cells and enteroendocrine cells after allogeneic stem cell transplantation, with funding of 2.5 million euros over 5 years.
Georges-Köhler-Preis 2022 für Maike Hofmann Oct 24, 2022 – Dr. Maike Hofmann wurde mit dem Georges-Köhler-Preis 2022 der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Immunologie (DGfI) für ihre Forschungsarbeiten zur virusspezifischen Immunantwort von CD8+ T-Zellen ausgezeichnet . Diese haben grundlegend zu einem besseren Verständnis der Immunbiologie bei viraler Hepatitis sowie bei SARS-CoV-2-Infektionen und der entsprechenden mRNA-Impfung beigetragen.
