Prof. Robert Zeiser (P14) was awarded the prestigious Paul Martini award (25.000 EUR) for his work on “Acute myeloid leukemia treatment using oncogene inhibition combined with immunotherapy and the role of oncogenic JAK for immune evasion“. The work was funded in part by the SFB 1160. The work was performed primarly in preclinical models and then translated into a clinical application for patients.
