Dr. Sandra Ammann (B04) was awarded this year’s Walter-Hitzig Prize from the “Arbeitsgemeinschaft Pädiatrische Immunologie (API)” . The API is a working group of doctors and scientists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland who deal with the detection, research and treatment of diseases of the immune system in children and adolescents.
The API awards the Walter-Hitzig Prize every two years in recognition of Professor Hitzig’s credits to child immunology. The award honors young scientists who have published an excellent work in the field of pediatric immunology as first / last author in the past two calendar years.
