Project Summary
INF(N), (Information Infrastructure), will establish core components of modern research data management (RDM) including central storage and easy exchangeability of research data, as well as comprehensive and standardized data documentation, aligned with the FAIR principles. INF(N) will provide customized solutions for facilitating metadata annotation based on established terminologies and ontologies. In particular, they will develop routines for extracting metadata from the original documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks. As a technical basis, they will tailor the fredato system, which they have developed as a comprehensive RDM solution for the Medical Faculty of the University of Freiburg.
